Business Challenge
AJAX Systems distributes hundreds of security devices annually to international partners for beta testing before release. The process faced major operational challenges slowing down product development cycles.
The goal was to create a platform that improves collaboration, transparency, and feedback quality among testers and product managers.
Key Problems
Managers spent up to 50% of work time manually sending status updates and follow-ups to over 100 testers across fragmented channels.
Only 30% of international testers consistently provided feedback, limiting the effectiveness and ROI of the beta program.
Communication was fractured across Telegram (100+ groups), email, WhatsApp, and Facebook, causing information loss and fragmentation.
Lack of unified progress tracking and incentives led to low testers engagement.
Product Development Process Timeline

To optimize the workflow under these time constraints, we made strategic decisions: skipping the lo-fi prototyping phase and moving directly to high-fidelity design, as we already had a detailed platform foundation to build upon. We also consolidated the testing process into a single comprehensive round with a clickable Figma prototype, rather than conducting two separate testing phases. This pragmatic approach allowed us to gather meaningful usability insights, implement critical improvements, and deliver a polished solution to the client on schedule, while maintaining design quality and validation rigor.
User Flow
Together with the team, we created a detailed user flow for the tester’s main scenarios: onboarding new users, working with active tests via a Kanban board, submitting bug reports with the ability to save drafts, viewing ratings and achievements, and managing profiles and devices.

Client Presentation
This case study demonstrates my transition to metrics-driven product design through real-world experience with hypotheses, in-depth interviews, ICE prioritization, usability testing, and MVP development. I was fully involved in all stages: conducting in-depth interviews, analyzing insights, forming and prioritizing hypotheses, conducting usability tests, and designing solutions.
